The time has come fur a new scheme
I cudnae refrain frae stating though
That sae ma heid is fu o woe
Tae see yer trying hard tae show

The time has come fur a new scheme
Fur oor extravaganza Which wi' copiousness daes teem
Being known as Scottish stanza
I cudnae refrain frae stating though
That sae ma heid is fu o woe
Tae see yer trying hard tae show
That limericks are aglae Fair puggled rhyme oor range must grow
The limerick's fault 'twisnae!
